Arnott Kenpo Karate is more than a martial arts school. We are a community. We work with kids to instill responsibility, focus and respect for each other as well as build leadership. We work with parents to work with their childs individual needs. We work with adults to make Kenpo work for them, at all ages, all skill levels.

Our programs are made to fit your budget and your schedule. You never need a contract and can pay as you go, a month at a time. You can buy private lessons one at a time, or in discounted batches.

If you do commit to a contract you gain a considerable discount and can still pay in monthly installments through your credit card or by check.

We are here to make kenpo work for you in every way, not only as a student, but for the family as well. We have tea and coffee in the lobby while you wait, and free WiFi to surf the net. We also provide a study table so that there is room for a sibling to do homework, or draw some colorful pictures.

Our Zumba dance fitness classes are free to parents and significant others of Studio members. (so yes, it's free for your girlfriend, your mom... etc)

Introductory Offers

•Basic Intro:
An intro to Kenpo Karate with 1 private lesson and 1 week of group lessons. An excellent way to get to know the studio and the art before you join. Gi not included, but required for group classes.

• One month Intro:
One month of group classes, plus a single private lesson, plus a free gi. A good way to jump right in.
One private lesson to get ready, and go.

• Education Discounts
Are you a student or teacher? We offer special education discounts no matter what the curriculum or school. Also, you can gain considerable discounts on Kenpo tuition by helping to teach karate at the studio as you advance.

 

FAQ

• I haven't been to the gym in a while, do I have to be in top physical shape?

The classes always begin with strengthening and stretching. As long as you are able to exercise, then Kenpo Karate is an ideal way to build in getting fit and losing weight while pursuing what often becomes a passion.

• When is my child ready?

We have children from ages 4 and up. For Mighty Tigers they should be in the "cause and effect" development stage and be able to focus for 25 minutes. If you are unsure, the first 2 classes for Might Tigers are free.

For kids class, they must know their left from right and be able to focus for a little under an hour. Respect is central to our training, so your child must be able to follow instruction.

• Are the different ages and skills mixed?

Childrens' and Adult classes begin with a warmup with basic maneuvers that everyone participates in. Then everyone is split up according to skill level and begins working on specific techniques with other students and instructors. Often different ranks are paired up to enhance the knowledge of the upper belts, and to instruct the lower belts.

• What if I have a special request such as times, payment options, etc.?
